Traveling the world is more than just an adventure for us; it’s a mission, a purpose we are determined to fulfill. It all began with our daughter, Christine, who had an insatiable love for travel and a deep desire to explore every corner of the globe. Unfortunately, an illness prevented her from traveling internationally to her desired destinations. But Christine was not one to give up on her dreams, and so she secretly made a bucket list of all her desired destinations, experiences, and adventures. She kept the list hidden away, hoping that one day, it would be fulfilled. In her honor, we embarked on a journey to explore the world, seeking out the beauty in every place and fulfilling Christine’s bucket list. Our quest is ongoing, and this mission has taken us to the farthest corners of the globe.
Christine - Our Hero and Inspiration
Christine is a radiant soul, bursting with love, adventure, and curiosity. Her true passions are travel and music, and her desire to explore the world is unmatched. Wherever she goes, she spreads joy and warmth, drawn to the beauty in the world around her and eager to explore its many wonders. Her love of music is infectious, inspiring everyone who hears her to see the world in a brighter light and cherish every moment. She pours her heart and soul into every song she sings and every chord she plays on her piano and ukulele. In her final hours before she returns to heaven at the age of 19, Christine shares with us her deepest and final wish: that we continue her legacy of adventure and exploration, seeking out the beauty in every corner of the world and experiencing all the incredible things she never had the chance to. ‘Travel the world,’ she whispers, ‘seek out the sunflowers as a sign of my presence, and watch the sunsets as a reminder of my love for ‘It’s Only Temporary‘.’ Though we miss her dearly, we carry Christine with us in our hearts and in the memories, we make along the way. We see the world through her eyes, with wonder and a deep appreciation for every fleeting moment. And as we travel, we know that Christine is with us always, inspiring us to be our best selves and live each day to the fullest.

Inspired By Her Last Wish
We embark on an epic journey armed with a well-instructed bucket list journal that serves as our guide, traveling from country to country, fulfilling one last wish, one item at a time, on Christine’s bucket list. From sleeping in a capsule hotel in Japan, to spending a night in an airplane hotel in Sweden, and visiting Rihanna’s childhood home in Barbados, we seek out every adventure and experience every moment with love, gratitude, and joy. As we journey across the world, we seek out sunflowers as a sign of Christine’s presence, and watch the sunsets as a reminder of her love for us. We feed the deer in Nara, Japan, and shout “It’s Only Temporary” at Athabasca Glacier in Canada. We climb the tallest mountain in the Netherlands, stay at a ryokan (旅館) in Otsu, Japan, visit the giant and the red panda in Singapore zoo, and celebrate the New Year in Krabi, Thailand. We wear hanbok in South Korea, visit Germany’s oldest city, and land on the shortest runaway in the world in Saba. And, of course, we visit the magical Phi Phi Islands in Thailand, just as Christine had wished. Throughout our travels, we not only fulfill her last wish but also find healing and solace in the beauty of the world. We hope to inspire others to live life to the fullest and embrace adventure, just as Christine did.
